The position involves contacting customers who have submitted information requests at our website to verify their contact information. Additionally, periodic customer surveys will be performed from a preset list of customers. Work schedule is from 2 – 10PM- from Sunday through Thursday. Telecommuting is available.
Required Skills:
1-2 years experience with a customer service and data entry is preferred
1-2 years experience in a call center environment is preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet Explorer
Customer service oriented with a patient and pleasant phone demeanor
Enthusiastic attitude with a desire to help customers
Excellent verbal communication
AA (2 year) degree or higher is preferred, but not required
We are a call center and answering service located in Lafayette, LA. We serve a variety of customers nationwide and serve as both answering service and virutal office for many of our clients. Our first priority is always to provide excellent and professional service to our clients. To excel at this, our employees must master a number of skills. The front line answers calls promptly, professionally, and accurately. The CSR is expected to develop good call-control skills, to learn and use data gathering techniques and always to display a professional, positive, and helpful attitude.
In addition to this, our staff should demonstrate the ability to understand new and changing technology, work well in a team setting, and have a talent for multi-tasking. Our environment is fast-paced and changes frequently. CSRs react well under pressure and remain professional regardless of the circumstances.
